"Energy efficiency through Rehabilitation, Sun and Geothermal Energy in Asturias" project has as its main partners: in addition to scientific and technical advice from CIEMAT, the Spanish Geothermal Technology Platform (GEOPLAT), the Mining and Energy of the Government of Asturias, Group TSK and the University of Oviedo. The researchers have proposed duration of 2.5 years between April 2016 and October 2018.
They researchers are looking for effective design tools, easy to use and manage to make possible energy saving measures, renewable energy implemented to take advantage of the thermal conditions where it is rehabilitated.
It is intended that this experience be extrapolated to different Autonomous Communities (C.C.A.A.) and countries, thanks to the solid action of the consortium of partners described.
In addition to the typology, dimensions and thermal conditions where it is built, consideration will be given to the generation of electricity through the installation of solar energy, low temperature, applied with low enthalpy or shallow geothermal energy, reducing energy demand and helping to reduce emissions.
The REHABILITAGEOSOL Project, Reference RTC-2016-5004-3, is a Project funded by the National Program for Research, Development and Innovation in Society Challenges, within the framework of the National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013 -2016 from the State.
