This page contains information about some Monte Carlo models created in the frame of this project. They were used at the initial steps of the project to determine the optimal configuration of the prototype device. The information is included here as a support for MC users that could be interested in using the models as a starting point for further developments.
The models represent a coaxial Ge detector with low energy gamma-ray detection capability and 40% relative efficiency. Models have been created for the 5 simulation packages used in the project (EGS, GEANT, GESPECOR, MCNP-X and PENELOPE).
