Smart Thermal Grid (RDI) is being sought that is capable of predicting the demand for energy in heating and cooling, optimizing the control of the facilities, achieving an efficient management, preserving the environment and amortizing the use of infrastructures in the medium term.
This initiative is envisaged within the European Union (EU) strategies under the Horizon 2020 Energy and Safe, Efficient and Clean Energy Challenge Program of the 2013-2016 State Science and Technology Research and Innovation Plan.
The project has an expected duration of 2.5 years, its start date being October 1, 2016 and its end date March 31, 2019, after the final validation tests of the pilot prototypes.
The GIRTER Project, Reference RTC-2016-5800-3, is a Project funded by the National Program for Research, Development and Innovation in Society Challenges, within the framework of the National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013 -2016 from the State Research Agency (Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness), co-financed with FEDER Funds.
